Hi!
I'm Nancy Tillberg, the artist behind the creations that you see on these pages.
Teddy Bear Making is one of the greatest joys
in my life and I've been making bear for over 12 years. Recently, I've also
started creating dolls, as this seemed to be a natural creative progression for
me. Very soon I will begin posting photos of the dolls that I have
available on this web site.
In 1998, I appeared on national television as a guest on Sue Warden's Craft-Scapes.
Shortly thereafter, my first book on bear making, "Teddy Bears with a Past" was
published by Krause Publications. This book includes 9 patterns and step by step
instructions that enable you to 'Take your old fur coat and Stuff It!' ™
Book two, was released in November of 2003. '101 Bears to Make'
This book has three unique
patterns with interchangeable body parts along with instructions for many, many
bear making techniques. My goal in writing it was to put everything you
need to know in one beautiful book.
Both books are available at major bookstores, and here on the web site. Just go
to the link for Nancy's Books on the left.
When I'm not bear-making, I lead a busy life as a wife, mother of two and
full time Police Officer with the City of Thunder Bay, in Ontario, Canada. I
hold a psychology degree from the University of Windsor and Certificate in Web Design
from Confederation College. You can visit my web design studio at

In my 'spare' time, I teach bear-making workshops in
person and on-line. The EbearZ University, is where I post on-line workshops for
creating dolls & teddy bears.
Among the awards I've won for my bears is a TOBY nomination for my clown
teddy, 'Mulligan.' The best rewards however, are when my creations are adopted
into new homes with owners that truly Luv them!
I'm truly grateful for all of the blessings that God has showered on me and my
family! |
