Sunny in this picture is shown as a teddy bear.  You will have the option of giving him different legs and ears to turn him into a bear's best friend... a puppy dog!

This course  is designed for beginner to intermediate  students.  The Beginner Bear course is recommended before taking this class if you are new to bear making.  The student should have a good grasp of the basic mechanics of bear making, and solid hand stitching skills.

The course is delivered as  conversational scrolling text, loaded with instructional photos,  and supplementary video downloads. A yummy summer recipe rounds out this course...and of course, don't forget the Discussion Forum for all your Q &A.

The 'Sunny' Course is an instructor led course with specific start and end dates. Class size is limited.   Among the things you will learn are:

• Open mouth design.
• Shaped inner mouth, gums and tongue.
• Optional clay  teeth.
• Introductory needle felting.
• Adorable eye enhancements.
• Optional wired ears and tail (for the puppy version of Sunny.)

• 3 45 mm joint sets
• 2 55 mm joint sets
• 1 pr. 12 mm glass eyes in a semi-transparent shade
• A 2 inch square of white felt
• 4 inches of leather cord

• Black, brown or dark gray wool batt, roving or tops
• Several felting needles
• 1 block of white or ivory FIMO or similar clay
• 3 inch square of pink felt or ultrasuede
