Supply List:
- Thin
bendable wire to build the armature
- Grey
cotton T-shirting or stretchy fabric, preferably knitted or weaved in a
tube, it makes it easier to cut so that you have one long strip of fabric.
Otherwise you need to join all the pieces together so that you have 1 x 10m
piece of about 20mm wide. It works easiest if you roll it up like a bandage.
- Grey
mini velvet/ mini bear fabric for the ears and feet
- Pink,
purple and turquoise felt to decorate the body
- DMC
nr. 8 Perle Blue 996, DMC nr. 8 Yellow 307 for embroidery on felt circles.
- 1 x
plastic frosted sheet to stiffen the wings. (We use frosted sheets in filing
or ring binding in books.)
- Thin
stiff plastic sheet, not so hard that if will break the machine needle.
-
Purple and turquoise organza for wing.
-
Bright pink machine thread to sew the wings.
- Pink
and Yellow chenille stick to decorate around ankle.
- Pink
pearly like beads for tone nails and decorating on body. 2.5 mm beads.
- Fimo
clay, or other polymer clay in white, black and turquoise.
- false
lashes
- Tiger
tail (or any other beader’s cord) for antenna
-
floral sequins and small beads for antenna
-
crimps to secure the beads on the ends of the antennas
- 10mm
beads with a large hole for knee knobs
- silk
flowers to decorate around the neck
-
polyester stuffing to stuff the feet
-
strong upholstery thread for general securing of body pieces
-
Masking tape to secure the knee knobs to wire armature.
- blade
to cut slay
- chalk
pastels and paint brush to do the shading on the clay eyes
-
something to roll the clay into thing sheets (straight glass, pastry roller
or pasta machine)
- doll
needles
-
general sewing supplies, scissor, hemostat, and sewing needles
-
Glitter glue, I’ve used the “colorless/silvery” one, use one with an acrylic
base; this is to seal the edge of the wings, so that the organza doesn’t
fray.
