'Extreme Sculpting'

Like puffy cheeks? A chiseled smile? Always wanted to try needle felted details but didnt' know where to begin? Read on!

If you've always wanted these features on your bear, but didn't quite know how to get there, then this course is for you!

This highly requested class is designed for the  intermediate to advanced bear making student, who already has solid bear making skills.  Students will create several heads in a variety of materials using the original pattern provided within the course.

Alternatively, the student can use their own pattern to create the heads.

The course then goes on to instruct students in several methods of needle sculpture, scissor sculpture and razor sculpture to create a beautiful, shapely face. A face that's loaded with character! Learn to chisel out those puffy cheeks, create eyebrows, a 'part in the hair' or even a mustache!

Students are encouraged to work with a variety of fabrics including synthetic plush, mohair and reclaimed genuine fur.  There is no supply kit for this course. The photos below are for illustration of the various fabrics and possibilities. The actual pattern is slightly different, and is a closed mouth design.
