The one who looks like he needs a good hug.  The one that looks like he has been handed down from generation to generation, and looks like he has “been there, done that” and seen it all.  Here is your chance to make your very own “vintage” style teddy.

A fun class for both the novice bear maker and the more experienced bear-smith, and is taught by renowned bears artist Jane Perala.

This course is excellent  for achieving a solid foundation in bear making as Jane takes you though the process step by step.   She then goes on to deliver the secrets of distressing that will make your bear look old and well loved.

You will be given a pattern and detailed instructions to make your 12” bear, then you will learn how to distress him in a variety of ways to achieve the look you want.  Depending on your tastes, you can apply as little or as much distressing as you like, and make him your very own creation.

There's even a recipe for a yummy snack! Essays on materials, stuffing and joints round out the course material.

For those wishing to use their own supplies, a supply list will be available in the class.  It is not available in advance.
