Photography 101 for Artists  Next Class Begins September 11th, 2010.

 

 

 

Learn the basic, and necessary skills of digital photography as it applies to artisans of all types.  This course can be used both to improve your photography skills, and to learn enough about digital cameras to help you make an educated buying decision if you do not yet have a camera.

 

Instruction is provided on camera styles and models, essential features, key terminology and the operation of a digital camera. Students will participate in photo taking projects to develop their skills with and without flash.  Students learn to manipulate depth of field, color spaces, and more.

 

This course is absolutely essential for anyone who is actively taking photos for the internet, auctions, magazine ads, competitions or personal portfolios.

 

The Photography workshop has been re-written and updated to include new text and techniques. This course is suitable for all levels from the novice to the serious amateur photographer.

The course is delivered as step by step conversational style scrolling text.

  • Basic Camera Understanding and the differences between Compacts, Zoom Cameras, and SLR Cameras

There is NO supply kit.  Students are required to obtain their own supplies (a camera.)  A full supply list  and recommendations for equipment are provided in the class.
