Felted Faces    Next Class Begins January 13, 2012

In this class you'll have a chance to learn how to add exquisite needle felted details to your bear's face to create a GENUINE Work of ART!  Learn from the one of the very best in the field ... Judi Paul.

This fun and exciting class will open up a new world of creating endless expressions onto a mohair bear.  We will cover the basics of needle felting, including the different types of needles and wool.  We will discuss the parts of a face and then we will build the face in steps.  Lots of step by step photos will be provided.  Finally we will add the finishing touches by shading with markers and thereby building in layers of colors to really bring the face to life.

View Judi's website here.

This course  is designed for intermediate and advanced students who already have a solid understanding of the mechanics of bear making.  A pattern is provided, however, the nature of needle sculpting is such that no two creations will ever be exactly alike.  Your bear will be as individual as its maker!

The course is delivered as  a step by step conversational style scrolling text.
