Tired of using everyone else's patterns? Ready to create your
own special bear right from the drawing board?
If you've always wanted to design your own bear, but
didn't quite know how to get there, then this course is for you.
Sharpen your pencils, because this
highly requested class is designed for
the intermediate to advanced bear making student, who already has solid
bear making skills. Students
will create create their own pattern after being introduced to various
design concepts, and will then create a bear from this pattern.
Students are encouraged to work with
synthetic plush or mohair for this course.

- A minimum
of 1/2 yard of plush fabric including in either synthetic plush or
mohair.
- All
materials and supplies as normally required to make a teddy bear.
- All tools
as normally required to make a teddy bear.
- Graph
paper.
- 1 yard or
more of cotton broadcloth.
- Pencils
and colored pencil crayons
- Optional:
Tracing paper and wheel, tissue paper.
- Freezer
paper is recommended (wide variety)
- Compass
(circular drawing tool) and ruler
- Measuring
tape
