Teddy Change Purse Next
Class Begins September 5th, 2010
We've got a
wonderful Teddy Bear Change purse for you to make. Make it
from mohair scraps, plush or genuine fur. (No detailed instructions for working with real fur are provided.) Great to keep or give as an impressive gift
for the bruin loving individual. SO cute and
functional! A real conversation starter! Now you can carry your bear everywhere!
This class is suitable for the intermediate bear maker who
already has a solid hand and machine sewing skills. You will choose between a change purse with a purchased clasp or a draw string version.

Supplies List
- 1/4 yard of a plush fabric or mohair of your choice.
- 1/8th yard of fabric
for the purse
- 1/8th yard of lining

- All other supplies as are normally needed to create a teddy bear such as eyes, floss, stuffing, joints etc.
- 1 pair of 6 - 8 mm eyes
- 48 inches of # 5 perle cotton
- scrap of felt to match your perle cotton
- 6 - 1/2 inch cotter pin joint sets (The head will be a double jointed
cotter-pin)
- stuffing
- thread
- heavy duty thread
- 1/8th yard of iron-on interfacing for lightweight fabrics or linings.
- Beads in various colors and sizes
- Beading thread and needles
- 1/8th inch ribbon or cord for the draw string closure
- Pencils and a sharpener
- Ruler or measuring tape.
- An eraser.
- Paper cutting scissors.
