In this class you'll have a chance to
make an small adorable, 9 1/2 inch teddy in he very popular Anime style.
This is a good project for any of you
who have smaller pieces of mohair. You can even mix and match your
scraps! Your instructor and master bear maker Jane Perala will guide you through the process of
making this wonderful bear, complete with cute little jacket.

This course is
designed for all levels of students. Some bear making experience
would be beneficial.
The course is delivered as a step by step conversational style
scrolling text. The text is delivered in Chapters, which are
opened one at a time over a 30 day period.
SUPPLY LIST
- Ό yd of mohair sparse is the best
for this type of bear, with a pile of about Ό 5/8. If you get a fat
quarter you may be able to get two bears out of it.
- Small piece of matching or contrasting wool felt for paws.
- One Pair 10 mm glass teddy bear eyes.
- Head joint 2 - 1 discs, 2 washers, 1 - 1 ½ cotter pin.
- Arm joints 4 1 discs, 4 washers, 2 1 ½ cotter pins
- Leg joints 4 1 Ό discs, 4 washers, 2 1 ½ cotter pins.
- #8 Perle Cotton for nose and claws.
- Strong thread to match mohair colour.
- Fiberfil type stuffing and optional doll stuffing pellets.
Teddy bear making tools ie: scissors, long needle, stuffing stick,
needle nose pliers, etc.
