What Is the EbearZ University™?
It's the result of many years of workshop development by artist/author Nancy Tillberg. The University allows students all over the world to take affordable classes, with high quality materials and expert instructors.
Our team of curriculum designers, photographers and web specialists, have worked magic in putting together a workshop that is so much more than just a pattern and a set of instructions!
The workshops are filled with interactive photos, quizzes, video downloads and more fun surprises. There are step by step instructions, and original, beautiful patterns. There is a message board for posting questions to the instructor, and for koffie kletzing with your fellow classmates. There
are new live chats and conferencing included in select workshops where special guest instructors will be able to give even more helpful information. These workshops are the next best thing to being there ...AND... you can come any time; when it's convenient for you to work on your teddy bear!

What courses are offered?
Each of our courses run repeatedly
for a period of one to two years depending on demand. The
exceptions to this are the Beginner Bear, Business of Bears and Heirloom
Bear workshops which are constant. Old workshops that are being
retired are listed at the bottom of our Home pages. New
upcoming workshops are listed at the top of our Home Pages.

What about supplies?
You can order EVERYTHING you will ever need to make AWESOME bears!
We are extremely pleased to have partnered with
Edinburgh Imports in California as our
official supplier of high quality bear making fabrics and supplies. You can purchase
optional supply kits for many of our making courses. Some supplies such as
stuffing cannot be shipped in a kit. These additional supplies will be listed
either on the course description page or within the workshop itself.
You can also choose to use your own supplies, in which case we will email you a handy supply check list
in each class.
NOTE: If purchasing a kit, we recommend that you register 15 days prior to
the start of the class in order to ensure that you receive it in time.
The EbearZ U orders kits on a regular basis, although not necessarily on the
date of payment. Consequently, kits may arrive before of slightly
after the start of a class. Please do not worry about this, as sufficient
time will be allotted to you to complete your project. If you live
outside of the US, delays at Customs, that are beyond our control
and dramatically affect shipment time. Again, don't worry, we'll make sure
that you get to finish your project.
Nancy's book "Teddy Bears with a Past" or "101 Bears to Make" can also be purchased directly from
her web site at
Kran-Beary's or in the Bookstore at
North Country Teddy Bears.

The University Guidelines are:
- Dress code- There isn't any. You can get dressed for school, or come in your jammies!
-
Class Schedule There isn't any! We recommend that you a lot one week per segment in the workshop, but feel free to work faster or slower. BUT... BEWARE... on midnight on the last day of the course, the doors to the classroom will be locked!
- Chat Schedule- Chat times and conferencing for select classes will be
emailed directly to the students.
- Rules of Conduct- Vulgarity, the use of profane language, sending of spam or abuse of classmates will not be tolerated, and will be deemed grounds for suspension from our school without refund. Remember when using the message board that YOU are responsible for your words.
We at EbearZ work very hard to bring you the very best classes at affordable
prices. It takes an enormous amount of time to produce these classes.
All of the pertinent information is listed on the website. If you
have a question that is not listed, please feel free to ask. If you do not
receive a response, it is likely because the answer to your question is already
listed on our site. Hostile emails or correspondence of any sort
will not be tolerated and are dealt with by immediate refund prior to the class
start date, or suspension and IP blocking after the class date.
-
Know the number for technical help regarding your computer. That way, any techie troubles you experience can be fixed ASAP and you'll be able to continue with the workshop.
-
Know how to operate your sewing machine before you being the class. A sewing machine (old or brand new) that just won't work for you can be very frustrating!
-
Keep a positive attitude...and don't be afraid to ask for help if you need it.

I don't have a password, how do I log in?
- Although you will receive your user name as soon as you
register, all registrations are entered manually into the system and
payment is verified by a single individual. Passwords are then
sent out the day that the class begins in a welcome email. In an
effort to curb the large volumes of email that we receive daily,
please do not email us asking for your password before the class
start date, as your email will
not receive a response.
